Hugo Chavez, Sept 19, 2004

Thanks to Virginia and to her link that became today's muse.

We can see the many ways that our "Presidente" is full of "human waste". In this case, Mister Chavez goes from been totally against the indefinite reelection to support it like crazy.

"He pointed out that two six years periods are just enough. He also pointed out that a renewal of the leader is necessary, and also because he cannot become a indispensable caudillo, because "I am not a caudillo, and, I am not indispensable""

Ahhhhh how cute, he had NO INTENTIONS whatsoever of perpetuate himself in power. He doesn't want to become a Caudillo! NoooOOoooo.... please how can one ever think about that possibility, que Dios no lo quiera que pensemos de esa manera. Ofender a Huguito ni con el penamiento! He is so funny, so charming, like, Tony Soprano, we loved him, he won't ever become a caudillo, No, no, nooo.

That was as of Sept 19, 2004.

Now, the story is different. Fast forward to today. See? Chavez has never been a politician, a civilian, a state man. Everything he is and always has been is a military dictator with NO RESPECT for any democratic institution whatsoever. And, we cannot defeat him EVER in that arena, because he is not part of it, he has never been part of it. He was advised to run for elections in 1999, his original idea (not enterely his by the way) was to come to power by a coup in 1992. But not only that, Chavez is not only a military, but a mediocre military by the way. Among all the coupters of Feb 4, 1992, Chavez was the only one who lost his objective and was cough with his soiled pants under a table in the military museum. The rest of the military who coup that day of Feb, 1992 were successful. Fortunately for Chavez, for one of those strikes of luck, the man was the one who gave that famous "por ahora" interview and took responsibility of the entire coup and the people of Venezuela fall in love with his psychopath of choice since that day. Chavez always said something on his TV shows, etc, that I think he is honest about, he always said that he was put as a front, since they (their military colleagues, and the rest of the civil powerful society that help him to grab presidential power, like Gustavo Cisneros) though they could managed him like a puppet. And that's one thing, maybe the only thing, that Chavez has always has been honest about it. Now, we know that he had no intentions of play the "recogidito" part but the Caudillo one. Conchale, but we didn't want a recogidito of Cisneros nor a Caudillo! We only wanted a president to get rid of corruption and put the country in "order". Why, oh why this is so hard to do?

And, today, that Halloween costume in which he presented himself, the business suit like he is a democratic civilian, doesn't fit anymore. He has gained so much weight (literally and figurative) he cannot get into that suit any longer. Plus, he doesn't need to foul anybody anymore, so slowly but surely the man is showing his real clothes, the military ones.

On one of those "Aló Presidente" shows, he mentioned that he is a painter who doesn't want anybody to ruin his master piece, he wants do do it alone. What's up with painters and dictatorships anyway? Remember that famous one who never got accepted into the Vienna Academy of Arts? Enough with that masterpiece comparison, Herr Hugo. It doesn't matter how much you want to decorate your words, we can see the stitches under them.
